College of Prayer

Campus launch in the most populated country in Africa

Today we launched our newest College of prayer campus in the most populated country in Africa - Nigeria. Many denominational leaders and key pastors gathered for training. Ask Christ to establish a strong reproductive campus in this strategic nation over the next three days of training.

Kenya primed for revival

Our newest Hub Campus was just planted in Kenya. The pastors and leaders who were trained will now go, by the grace of God, and plant 133 College of Prayer Campuses. They anticipate planting an additional 285 Campuses over the next 3 to 5 years. These leaders who were trained came from every county of Kenya and also Tanzania and Uganda.

A Mighty Module in Toulouse

Rev. Fred Hartley, III and Rev. Brad Reynolds led a Module in Toulouse, France last week. They taught the College of Prayer Year 2 Curriculum, Lord, As Families, Teach Us to Pray! Many lives were touched and families renewed in God's presence.

Ethiopia On Fire!

Rev. Fred Hartley, III and Rev. Wes Hilliard teamed up for a mighty week of College of Prayer ministry in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia last week. They further mentored, trained, and equipped leaders who are overseeing the College of Prayer in this great nation. Our partnership with the Ethiopian Kale Heywat Church is stronger than ever and we continue to serve Ethiopian Parliament and Military leaders as well.

Last week a new Hub Campus launched in Lilongwe, Malawi. Pastor Theo Burakeye (Regional director for Southern Africa) reports, “God has met with us these 3 days. Repentance, renewal of commitment to prayer, forgiveness...all these were our blessings. Thank you for praying for me. I did experience Him once again.”

Dominican Republic

A module was held in Villa Fundacion, Peravia DR in March 1-2, 2019. We participated in the second module of Year One: "Lord, Teach Us to Pray!". The event was conducted in a God-encountering, Christ-exalting and life-giving environment as we walked through the curriculum based on the Lord's Prayer.

Here are some highlights of what we saw God do:

We trained 86 Pastors and leaders from four strategic countries in Southeast Asia: Vietnam, Miramar, Laos, Thailand

What a blessed time in the Presence of God with our Latino brothers and sisters. A Chilean pastor brought 4 people who he is mentoring and charged them with key aspects of prayer and teaching. We drove 6 hours north on Friday and our time with the Uruguayan national church opened Friday evening. About 140 Uruguayans, pastors and leaders from the churches, gathered in the small town of Tranqueras in the Alliance church there. It was beautiful as the Chilean pastor and the up and coming leaders from Chile poured into this weekend of worship, prayer, and teaching in the power, ministering to the Presence of God. God is fulfilling the vision of uniting the Southern Cone of South America.

Dominican Republic

It was exciting to be with Pastor Yasser Vidal, in helping him lead a College of Prayer module, last weekend in Santo Domingo. This is one of 3 active campuses in the Dominican Republic. There were pastors and people from 5 churches participating. Together, we launched into Year 2 of our curriculum, Lord, As Families, Teach us to Pray.

Our largest footprint, as a ministry, is in Ethiopia.

What a week!

May 14-20, 2018 will go down as one of the all-time great weeks in the history of the College of Prayer International.

Dominican Republic

On March 2-3, we were in Villa Fundacion, Peravia province of DR to launch a new College of Prayer campus. Pastor Freddy de los Santos and I (Yasser Vidal) taught the lessons.

This week, our President, Fred Hartley III traveled to South Africa. He and Pastor Theo Burakeye then went North to Malawi to lead the first Advanced Leadership Training ever in Malawi, Africa.

La Molina, Lima Peru Nov. 3-4, 2017

Kigali, Rwanda

Our training consisted of 55 pastors from 3 different countries (Rwanda, Congo and Togo). We trained in the Advanced Leadership Training and much of Year One. Our sessions with these leaders took off like a rocket. At every College of Prayer gathering, we start with high worship. Africans know how to worship! There is so much joy, as they have incredible rhythm and dance. Throughout our gathering, we experienced high worship, deep repentance, forgiveness of sins and freedom from strongholds, being filled with the Holy Spirit and being empowered for ministry.

Alicante, Spain

There were 40 young adults that came to Spain from a large church (2,000 people in regular attendance) from the Netherlands for the College of Prayer. God met the needs of the group in many ways.

Van Buren/Ft. Smith, Arkansas - Prayer on Fire Gathering

We had an incredible Prayer on Fire Gathering in Van Buren, AR in July. Roughly 350 church leaders and lay leaders from 25 churches and ministries came together for 2 days to contend for a move of God in The River Valley Region. Led by Rev. Jon Mitchell (Executive Director), Bishop Donn Thomas (Board of Directors), and Dr. Wes Hilliard (Lead Pastor of Heritage, the host church) it was evident that there was hunger for God. Many responded to the call to become Upper Room disciples and make prayer a priority. There was an outpouring of physical healing, emotional healing, and Holy Spirit empowerment during the 2 days.

I just returned from a most fruitful week of ministry in Cuba, training the leaders of every major denomination including Assembly of God, Baptist, Methodist, C&MA, Nazareen, Evangelical League, and others. One elderly woman has been praying for 15 years for a "School of Prayer" to come and equip the church in Cuba. What a blessing to be the answer to the prayers of God's people!

Asia Pacific

I just returned from being in Asia Pacific for the past two weeks. I was in a number of very sensitive cities and working in some creative access areas. One place had never had a western teacher so it was the most sensitive. I was told it would be safe and we should go because several hundred Pastors and leaders were hungry for the teaching and needed to be trained in revival prayer.

Warren, NJ Campus

We praise God for what He has done at our Warren, New Jersey campus. The picture above is of the staff team from the host church, Stonecrest. They took time at the recent module to testify to God moving in their church the last three years. In this picture, Pastor Brent Haggerty is celebrating a win. To God be all the glory!
